512K x 8 Fast SRAM Chip Size Package

Designed for space limited, high packing density applications a 512K x 8 SRAM Chip Size Package (MSM8V512B) is now available from Apta. The 3.3V Vcc monolithic device is supplied in a 48 pad BGA footprint with 1mm ball spacing.

With a 10mm x 8mm package size the device offers a very high density solution compared to industry standard TSOPII or SOJ packaging. Access times of 15 to 20ns are available.

2M x 32 SRAM in PLCC package

Apta Ltd can now deliver 1Mx32, or 2Mx32 Fast SRAM memory devices in the industry standard PUMA84 84 pin PLCC package. The PUMA84S32000 (1M x 32) uses chip size packaged flash memory devices that are themselves close to actual die size on both sides of the PUMA84 substrate to achieve this ultra high density solution.

The 1M x 32 and 2M x 32 modules measure 30.35 x 30.35 x 5.08mm and are available with access times of 15, 20 or 25ns. Both devices are available as 3.3V Vcc variants. A 5V version of the 1Mx32 module is also available.

PUMA84 is a memory building block. There is a wide range of memory devices available in CSP, which will fit onto a PUMA84 substrate in various configurations to achieve customer specific memory organisations.
